The spa treatments were amazing, but the hotel really needs a clean-up.

The resort is very tired. Staff are excellent, but we think the management is not. We'd booked half-board and were appalled to find that all that was on offer in a 5 star resort was a buffet. We'd flown from Cyprus early that day, collected our car and driven to the resort and really wanted a good meal. We both hate buffets and, although the quantity was there, the quality most certainly wasn'T.

Wonderful base for your vacations in Vrachati. A private kitchen was ok for us.

Rooms in outer buildings are dated, but the large pool area and excellent buffet meals are highlights.
great pool area, tasty food, dated rooms.

The hotel staff seem to think I'm just like everyone else, how quaint. I couldn't believe the pool was open to the public-chaos reigned supreme! And the breakfast, oh joy, nothing says luxury like canned fruit! I did almost consider giving a good review but then remembered I deserved a room upgrade which I just didn't receive.

The service was excellent here. The spa area worked very well. Magnificent and lovely location overlooking garden and near the common areas outside the rooms, ancient Corinth and Athens. Also, close to beach.

The Alkyon features spacious and modern halls that are ideal for hosting important business events. The hotel's recent major expansion and upgrade have created highly functional and luxurious spaces which enhance the overall experience for professional gatherings. The location next to a lovely beach provides a great spot for relaxation after a long day of work.
The hotel itself is somewhat dated.

Nice gardens, great pool, good breakfast, comfortable room, good wifi.
Given a horrid room but after complaining put in main part of hotel.

The hotel boasts direct beach access, a big plus for those wanting a quick dip without the hassle. The generous portion sizes at meals were quite satisfying, leaving little room for complaints during dinner time.
Unfortunately, the amenities are somewhat outdated, with many guests highlighting worn carpeting and aging rooms that could use a facelift. Noise from the pool area can be a real pain, especially if you're trying to unwind in the spa, as the frolicking kids above can drown out your relaxation. The breakfast left much to be desired-many choices lacked quality, with cold pre-made eggs and overly sweetened jams that don't cut it. Cleanliness around the pool was also an issue, with reports of moss buildup, which shouldn't be the case in any hotel.

The spacious junior suite was a delight, offering a great separation of areas, while the large kid-friendly pool kept the children entertained throughout our stay.

We enjoyed the nearby beach, beautiful and has a Blue Flag for cleanliness. The hiking trails are scenic and perfect for a day out. Take a trip to Kalavryta for fine views. It's definitely worth it.
Our bathroom had an issue with the lock that needed fixing, but the staff were quick to resolve it.

nice stay but some areas need improvement
The treatment in the Spa was FANTASTIC! The staff were great. The live music event in the lobby created a lovely atmosphere, especially with the fireplace adding warmth. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden view, a highlight of our mornings.
The surrounding area felt quite lackluster.
